Hi all,
Monday night was such a powerful night! For those of you who weren't there...I’d recommend that you listen to it on audio because there was stacks of wisdom shared...and if you were there...listen to it again!Dr Sim shared so many different testimonies which were very encouraging. He mainly spoke on the importance of tithes and offerings, whilst sharing some crazy (by saying crazy I mean 'really cool') stories about how the Lord rescued him and a few others from dying in the tsunami that hit overseas in 1997.
Dr Sim spoke on how there is often a parallel between our spiritual walk with Christ and our tithing and offerings. I have noticed in my walk with the Lord that He is able to move through me more powerfully when I fully hand my money and time over to him and declare that its His (He initially blessed me with it anyway).
He also touched on Luke 16:10-13 which talks about being faithful with what you have, even though it may not seem like a lot. God often looks to see whether we are diligent in handling the smaller things before he entrusts the bigger things into our care. It was the same case with King David.
The other thing I learnt is that God is in control and owns everything...which is kinda obvious, but I guess it was revealed to me in a deeper way. As Dr Sim said 'He is the Most High'.
Did you know we serve the Most High God?
Blessings

The Dream
I had a dream awhile ago, and in the dream I saw students writing down and recording on a blog what God was doing in the school and out of school in everyday life! Capturing and cherishing all that the Spirit of God was doing and saying each time we come together. This is also for the students who are part of the school but study in the distance education program to be more connected with the in-house students. Be encouraged at God's goodness!

Hello!
Hope you guys and girls have had a great week. Just for those who werent there, last night Pastor Paul spoke on moving in the miraculous and talked about some key points. We were also very inspired by the time of sharing, in which the students talked about what miracles God had done in our lives.
Pastor Glen unlocked the secrets of the book of 1 Peter and the spirit of persevering through the tough times! It was very interesting to look through the "spiritual" life of Peter and how we had grown through his journey with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
God particulary gave me a vision last night also through the prayer time of a mist coming into my heart. He told me also that everything comes from the heart and its no good giving your mind over to the Lord if you havent given your heart. So that was very humbling for me but also very encouraging.
Bless ya fellow Jesusites.

Back to School!
Well, we are on the eve of the next term and I am very excited about getting back into class after this restful break and getting back into the Word! This term we are continuing on in the subject of the Apostolic church looking more specifically at church planting and running. Also on the Monday night we will be studying Time and Finance management (from a biblical perspective) a crucial thing in this busy world with unlimited options of what to buy or do.
On Thursday night we are privileged to Ps Paul Jackson taking the class, Moving in the Miraculous as well as Ps Glen and others continuing on through the New Testament right up to the book of Revelation!
If you have any people that would like to be a part of the school, feel free to bring them along during the first week of the new term.
See you there!

Shepherd of True Peace
One of the points of developing a Davidic heart that Ps Glen shared that grabbed my attention particularly was point 4. 'Tend sheep and learn to fight'. As I personally avoid confrontations, and love to be at peace with all people this is a challenge I realise that God is challenging me for a very good reason. A while ago I was reading the 'words in red' in the gospels and began to question the Lord about verses where Jesus says how He didn't come to bring peace but a sword. He began to show me that in order to bring true peace, order, and justice for the good of all His people there needs to be a fight for it, a contending for it (a type of violence against evil that ruins the true peace and safety that God desires). So avoidance is not God's will. Pretending you didn't know there was a problem is only a false peace.
I read an article this week about a judge who was on the bench to rule for legalisation of adoption by same sex couples. And as this christian judge's concern for the innocent children who don't have a voice for themselves in this situation was greater than his own reputation and position, he chose to speak against this ruling and now is a judge no longer.
This is a great living example of fighting for the protection of others. So I am urged to pick up my cross and lay my life down at any cost. What ever it takes to be a ‘shepherd of true peace’ hey!

Mystery, Awe and Wonder
Glory to God, Monday night was another blessed and powerful night at Bible School! The Lord really wanted to build up His church, it was like He couldn't wait to minister to us! As we began to move in the prophetic a new sense of wonder and awe filled the students. It seemed like everyone was being encouraged and built up and my housemate Kate (another member of the school) and I agreed that the teachers and students as a body experienced a new level of spiritual unity.
It was so encouraging for me to hear all the students prophesying and made me realise that by God's grace these gifts are actually for us! God's ideas for His Church are so grand and His grace, gifts and power are swallowing up the current way of mediocrity. Lets all accept this reality for ourselves and press in deep to be apart of it! The heights of God's love and faithfulness are amazing!
Thanks to Cheryl and Pastor Glen for being so open to the spirit and for the great teaching, we're all very blessed.

Hey!! i figured it out!! haha!! i'm getting the hang of this gizzmo-gadget thingy, commenly refered to as a "computer"
I'm kind've over a week late on this, but GOSH.. i was so impacted by the revelation that was spewing out of Galations the other night! I was radicaly impacted by the realisation of the complete freedom released to us through Jesus cruixifiction. We no longer live 'under' the law (death), but it has been implanted in our hearts through the Holyspirit! (life). I was also impacted by the power of bondage in our lives too, and how restricting it is to us... Now is the time we reflect this into our lives and release freedom into these areas of bondage!! woot woot!! exciting eh!?!
One other thing that opened up to me was the power of speaking Gods word into peoples lives. Here i was trying to convince people to my way of thinking with my own vocabulary. Ha! I had know idea that the Spirit attaches itself to Gods words and impacts the receiver supernaturaly!! I guess heb 4:12 makes more sence to me now :-) Ha! its prob old newz 4 u guyz, but hey! I thought it was kind'a kool!
Peace out brothers

Good evening soldiers!
After taking a long while trying to figure out how to post a Blog, God has given me the grace to finally work it out! On a similiar note, didn't God pour out his grace on us last night!
I believe last night during the ministry time God was doing a great work in all of our hearts that will bear great fruit in future years. The Spirit of God was imparting/sowing, and speaking powerfully into all of our lives. Oh Lord how we need more of your grace!
The Lord personally showed me something too. Its sounds kinda weird but I saw the feet of Jesus. Now they weren't smelly or anything like that but the Lord showed me that we need a greater desire to want to walk in his ways, and in order to this we need His grace.
To become more like Jesus is something that we cannot do in our own strength. My prayer is that we would actively watch where Jesus' is walking, to grab hold of his feet and to lay down our lives! God has placed a call on all of our lives to serve him.
I hope everyone has a blessed week and that by God's grace what was spoken to you on monday night would transpire from your mind and into your heart.
Be encouraged!

Podcast & New Websites
I have just finished two new websites. The first is http://web.mac.com/ggerhauser. It is a personal website with a new Holy Fire Podcast on it. Anybody can receive the podcast by having itunes installed (free from Apple's Website) and clicking the subscribe button on this new website. Please feel free to pass on the link to spread the word about the podcast. I have included something on there that I have never published before - a mix called Davidic Hip Hop.
The second website is http://homepage.mac.com/ggerhauser/. This is an important one because it includes all the notes, powerpoints and even audio messages of the classes. I cannot keep the audio messages on the website long because they take up too much space, so please download them as soon as possible. I recommend that you listen to the classes more than once because there is alot to digest. For the password to access this please email Phil.

petals falling from heaven ...
Hi, this is my first semester at the school and every week I have been blown away by the tangible presence of God, as well as the powerful work He does in me through His preached word and ministry from the school leadership. From the very first night God has been giving me visions for other students and the school as a whole. Tonight (mon 19th Feb 2007) during prayer at the end of the night, He gave me a vision of fragrant rose petals falling from heaven. I could see all the students standing in poses of praise, with their hands and faces raised to heaven and their eyes closed. The petals were falling like rain and as the petals brushed the students faces, they broke out in radiant smiles of joy. I created an animated gif to visualise what I saw ... God is raining down His blessings upon us and we are joyfulling recieving them ...

Ephesians 4:11-13... In the precious name of our Lord Jesus, AMEN! ... ;) ness
11It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Praise God! I feel like we all carried out that victory that PsGlen wrote about, last night and into our lives, hallelujah! Although many of us(if not most) come in wounded (sick, weary etc) the Lord claimed back his territory last night with what felt like a river up to the eye level, just flooding us and healing us. The night started with Rams powerful words of exhortation on BEING destiny driven disciples and followed in to a prophetic time of Glen expounding on 2Corinthians where the lord was speaking individually to all of us words of life.
My brother Warrick was radiant after prayer and impartation by the laying on of hands. He told us later in the car that he just started to uttered words in tongues out in faith when (without knowing) Glen suddenly asked him if he had received tongues and that we should gather around him and pray for him to receive it. The lord obviously wanted an impartation of tongues for Warrick. Praise God! And I felt that there was much imparted to him.
God is doing a mighty work in all of us at school and I feel healed with no medication taken last night I believe I received healing. And last night after dropping off Warrick the lord had Tim and I Pray like and army marching back to our house to take back the land as we drove into our street walked into our house the lord said that we were taking it back. The lord is our Banner Hallelujah!

BREAKTHROUGH
Tonight we had a tremendous breakthrough in the Spirit at Bible School. I felt God come through like a mighty river and I believe this river will overflow into the rest of the church. Over the last week many have been under some demonic assault which has been manifested in people being weak, sick and having strange thoughts. Tonight we felt like God broke through with living waters to drive out the enemy. I pray that as you read this the Spirit of God is ministered to you in the same way. I pray that you also will know mighty rivers of living water flowing through you – to refresh you and give you wisdom.
The JC Souljahs told me that on Wednesday night they also had a extraordinary breakthrough. The Holy Spirit and fire fell on them and they prayed like never before. Tuli told me that in all of their seven years of ministry they have never seen anything like it in their group. I believe it is the fruit of their prayers – they have been gathering together every Saturday for prayer at 6am.

Brothers and Sisters,
Thanks for a great year last year and a super start to 2007. I really missed bible college over the break and the first night i came back it was incredible. One thing that everyone notices about Holy Fire is that the Lord dwells amongst the school.
So just want to give a shout out to the Lord for his presence and for you guys for being obedient.
One thing the Lord has been speaking to me lately through my quiet times is his ability to call anyone to his good works so be encouraged and be ready.
The evangelism classes have been great too, the Lord is really stretching me through them.
I look forward to what God is going to do in this school and am very excited to be a part of it. I couldnt imagine myself anywhere else, except if im called of course :-)
Blessings,
Simon

Kickin it off
Hey y'all...so like I guess I'll kick off the festivities with the first spiritual posting for all us "superspiros" (teehee).. Well I am just flat out amazed at how the LORD is so faithful to give me the desire and boldness to share HIM with at least one person a day at work etc. when I was just asking HIM all the time for fruit that lasts and not just hot air and "christian activity". '07 truly is the year of an open heaven...be encouraged all you saints to witness to the family and friends who normally are as resistant as a resistant thing!! Praise the LORD for His gospel in which is the power to SAVE and change a life.
Shalom (see how spiritual all this has been - jewish even),

Welcome to Our Blog
Welcome to the blog of Holy Fire Ministry Training School. This blog is set up to record what God has been doing in the lives of the many different students and friends of the school, near and far. It is a way we can record and remember what God has spoken to us in the school and in our own personal time with Him. This is a great way for the students who are studying in the 'distance education program' to connect with the in-house students and encourage each other!
New Beginnings
We are excited to see what God is going to do through this site as we remember together the works of the Lord. We are continually amazed by all that God is doing and saying among us and we hope that through this blog we are good stewarts of the Father's gifts to us. As we begin this blog we pray Jesus' words: "Let nothing be wasted!"
