Hi all,
Monday night was such a powerful night! For those of you who weren't there...I’d recommend that you listen to it on audio because there was stacks of wisdom shared...and if you were there...listen to it again!Dr Sim shared so many different testimonies which were very encouraging. He mainly spoke on the importance of tithes and offerings, whilst sharing some crazy (by saying crazy I mean 'really cool') stories about how the Lord rescued him and a few others from dying in the tsunami that hit overseas in 1997.
Dr Sim spoke on how there is often a parallel between our spiritual walk with Christ and our tithing and offerings. I have noticed in my walk with the Lord that He is able to move through me more powerfully when I fully hand my money and time over to him and declare that its His (He initially blessed me with it anyway).
He also touched on Luke 16:10-13 which talks about being faithful with what you have, even though it may not seem like a lot. God often looks to see whether we are diligent in handling the smaller things before he entrusts the bigger things into our care. It was the same case with King David.
The other thing I learnt is that God is in control and owns everything...which is kinda obvious, but I guess it was revealed to me in a deeper way. As Dr Sim said 'He is the Most High'.
Did you know we serve the Most High God?
Blessings
Jono
The Dream
I had a dream awhile ago, and in the dream I saw students writing down and recording on a blog what God was doing in the school and out of school in everyday life! Capturing and cherishing all that the Spirit of God was doing and saying each time we come together. This is also for the students who are part of the school but study in the distance education program to be more connected with the in-house students. Be encouraged at God's goodness!

Hello!
Hope you guys and girls have had a great week. Just for those who werent there, last night Pastor Paul spoke on moving in the miraculous and talked about some key points. We were also very inspired by the time of sharing, in which the students talked about what miracles God had done in our lives.
Pastor Glen unlocked the secrets of the book of 1 Peter and the spirit of persevering through the tough times! It was very interesting to look through the "spiritual" life of Peter and how we had grown through his journey with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
God particulary gave me a vision last night also through the prayer time of a mist coming into my heart. He told me also that everything comes from the heart and its no good giving your mind over to the Lord if you havent given your heart. So that was very humbling for me but also very encouraging.
Bless ya fellow Jesusites.

Back to School!
Well, we are on the eve of the next term and I am very excited about getting back into class after this restful break and getting back into the Word! This term we are continuing on in the subject of the Apostolic church looking more specifically at church planting and running. Also on the Monday night we will be studying Time and Finance management (from a biblical perspective) a crucial thing in this busy world with unlimited options of what to buy or do.
On Thursday night we are privileged to Ps Paul Jackson taking the class, Moving in the Miraculous as well as Ps Glen and others continuing on through the New Testament right up to the book of Revelation!
If you have any people that would like to be a part of the school, feel free to bring them along during the first week of the new term.
See you there!

Shepherd of True Peace
One of the points of developing a Davidic heart that Ps Glen shared that grabbed my attention particularly was point 4. 'Tend sheep and learn to fight'. As I personally avoid confrontations, and love to be at peace with all people this is a challenge I realise that God is challenging me for a very good reason. A while ago I was reading the 'words in red' in the gospels and began to question the Lord about verses where Jesus says how He didn't come to bring peace but a sword. He began to show me that in order to bring true peace, order, and justice for the good of all His people there needs to be a fight for it, a contending for it (a type of violence against evil that ruins the true peace and safety that God desires). So avoidance is not God's will. Pretending you didn't know there was a problem is only a false peace.
I read an article this week about a judge who was on the bench to rule for legalisation of adoption by same sex couples. And as this christian judge's concern for the innocent children who don't have a voice for themselves in this situation was greater than his own reputation and position, he chose to speak against this ruling and now is a judge no longer.
This is a great living example of fighting for the protection of others. So I am urged to pick up my cross and lay my life down at any cost. What ever it takes to be a ‘shepherd of true peace’ hey!

Mystery, Awe and Wonder
Glory to God, Monday night was another blessed and powerful night at Bible School! The Lord really wanted to build up His church, it was like He couldn't wait to minister to us! As we began to move in the prophetic a new sense of wonder and awe filled the students. It seemed like everyone was being encouraged and built up and my housemate Kate (another member of the school) and I agreed that the teachers and students as a body experienced a new level of spiritual unity.
It was so encouraging for me to hear all the students prophesying and made me realise that by God's grace these gifts are actually for us! God's ideas for His Church are so grand and His grace, gifts and power are swallowing up the current way of mediocrity. Lets all accept this reality for ourselves and press in deep to be apart of it! The heights of God's love and faithfulness are amazing!
Thanks to Cheryl and Pastor Glen for being so open to the spirit and for the great teaching, we're all very blessed.
